After the rumors spread by La Stampa and the uproar among the fans, the official denial about the possible arrival of Jürgen Klopp at Roma has arrived.
His agent, Marc Kosicke, took a stand and spoke to winwinallsports to clarify the situation.
“The news that Klopp will become the next coach of Roma is not true,” said Kosicke, thus putting an end – at least for the moment – to the rumors that the German coach would be close to the Giallorossi bench.
Kosicke also spoke to Bild: “It’s all nonsense. It’s getting boring having to always comment on these rumors.”
At the time of the alleged agreement, the coach was in Mallorca and is now at the Red Bull headquarters in Austria.
The former Liverpool player is tied to the club with a five-year contract and has also refused the inclusion of a termination clause.
Furthermore, there had recently been talk of a possible move to Real Madrid, but even in that case Marc Kosicke denied the rumours: “Jürgen is very satisfied with his new role as Head of Global Soccer at Red Bull”.
