Koba Koindredi will sign for Lausanne-Sport on a three-year deal after a turbulent summer at Sporting de Portugal, with the switch arranged late on deadline day.
According to Superdeporte, Sporting and the Swiss club have agreed a permanent transfer, returning the former Valencia midfielder to Lausanne-Sport, where he played last season.
His difficulties began when Basel chose not to activate a purchase option, forcing a return to Lisbon. At Sporting he endured an uncomfortable spell and was swiftly pushed towards the exit.
He started pre-season with the first team but, when the squad left Portugal for their first camp, he was reassigned to the second team, a clear sign he was not in the coach’s plans.
Koindredi was then kept with the reserves while a departure was sought. The Lausanne move hands the Frenchman a platform to relaunch his career in the Swiss top flight.
