Köln and Werder Bremen are vying to sign Bologna’s Dutch striker Thijs Dallinga, who scored two Serie A goals last season.

Gianluca Di Marzio reported on Monday that the 26-year-old could be the next forward to move to the Bundesliga.

Fresh movement in talks has linked him with SV Werder Bremen, while Köln are pushing to outmuscle their league rivals and conclude a deal quickly.

Dallinga joined Bologna from Toulouse in 2024 for almost €16 million, but struggled to establish himself in Italy’s top flight.

If he lands in Köln, he would likely be back-up to top scorer Ragnar Ache, who is expected to lead the line in 2026-27.
