1. FC Köln coach Lukas Kwasniok has acknowledged Felipe Chavez’s limited minutes since arriving on loan from Bayern Munich, and said he could have a bigger role at Augsburg on Friday.

According to BuLi News, the 18-year-old joined during the winter window to find more playing time.

So far he has featured for only one minute across three matches for Köln.

Kwasniok said the setup in Augsburg could differ, which might suit Chavez’s qualities more than recent games against RB Leipzig, VfB Stuttgart and TSG Hoffenheim.

He added that Chavez remains in their plans, and whether he starts or offers impact from the bench remains to be decided.

Before the move, Chavez played 12 minutes across two first-team outings for Bayern.
