Köln suffer double injury blow before Leipzig clash

Köln have suffered a double injury blow ahead of Sunday’s Bundesliga meeting with RB Leipzig.

The club said on Thursday that Alessio Castro-Montes and Linton Maina will both miss the game after sustaining injuries in training.

Castro-Montes is out with a muscle problem, while Maina has a broken rib.

Both started the 1-0 win over Wolfsburg last Friday, with Maina scoring the decisive goal.

Köln sit 10th going into the match.
