Manu Kone could make a surprise late exit in this transfer window.

The French midfielder has been linked with an unexpected transfer to Chelsea to replace Enzo Fernandez who is bound for Manchester City.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, negotiations between Chelsea and Roma are advanced.

However, Gian Piero Gasperini wants to keep the player at all costs, which could compromise the deal.
