Konrad Laimer set for Bayern contract extension

After months of tough negotiations, Konrad Laimer and Bayern Munich are now seemingly very close to finalising a deal.

According to Kicker, the Austrian international is on the verge of extending his contract beyond 2027, with the parties having reached a broad understanding.

Laimer, 29, was a regular starter at full-back during the 2025/26 season, making 47 appearances for the German champions with three goals and 13 assists to his name.

He is currently with the Austrian national team at the World Cup.
