PEC Zwolle and Groningen drew 1-1 in Zwolle on Friday, a result that lifts Zwolle from 13th to 12th in the Eredivisie table.

In the 82nd minute Koen Kostons swept in from the centre of the box after Hidde Jurjus had just denied Younes Namli.

Thom van Bergen levelled with a header from Younes Taha's cross (84.) following a set piece.

Tom de Graaff kept Zwolle in the game before the break with a string of saves, while after the restart Marco Rente struck the woodwork. Zwolle also lost Ryan Thomas to injury before the half hour, with Nick Fichtinger introduced.

Zwolle finished with 13 attempts, six on target. Groningen recorded 16 attempts, six on target, and hit the bar once.
