Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé has on Tuesday drawn level with a club legend in the Champions League’s all-time list of goalscorers.

This comes owing to his exploits in Los Blancos’ latest outing on the continent.

José Mourinho’s troops are of course currently locked in action, having welcomed Serie A heavyweights Inter Milan to Spain’s capital for the respective clubs’ Champions League season opener.

As things stand, the hosts find themselves headed for a three-point haul, leading Inter by two goals to nil.

The aforementioned Mbappé featured from the off in the fixture, and opened the scoring in somewhat bizarre circumstances upon taking advantage of a mistake at the back inside the opening quarter of an hour.
