Kylian Mbappé equals Real Madrid icon with latest UCL strike vs. Inter 🔥 | OneFootball

Real Madrid were all at sea for the opening period of their Champions League clash with Inter but when you have players like Kylian Mbappé, you always have a chance. 

In José Mourinho's first European game since returning as Real boss, his side struggled against his former club, coached by his former player Cristian Chivu. 

Thibaut Courtois was called into action on several occasions but Inter could not make the breakthrough and were made to pay in the 14th minute, and it was entirely their own fault.  

Former Liverpool man Curtis Jones played a dire square ball to Yann Bisseck, and he lost it to Brahim Díaz, who slipped in Mbappé and the Frenchman made no mistake to finish past Josep Martínez. 

Mbappé had picked up his award for top scoring last season's tournament (15 goals) prior to kick-off from Luis Figo, and his latest strike saw him go level with another all-time great, former club captain Raúl.  

Inter shot them themselves in the foot again before the half hour mark with Martínez attempting a Cruyff turn in his own box only for Federico Valverde to poke the ball away from him and into the net. 

It's looking like the dream night for the Special One.
