A surprise statistic surrounding Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé has come to the fore on Wednesday evening.

This comes owing to the Frenchman’s exploits against Olympiacos.

Real Madrid are of course currently locked in action on the continent, after making the trip to Greece for a Champions League clash.

And after a shaky start which saw them fall behind inside 10 minutes, Los Blancos have since taken firm control of things.

The aforementioned Mbappé has proven himself the star of the show, to the tune of a first-half hat-trick.

And one of his three strikes, as alluded to above, has given rise to a head-turning individual statistic.

After levelling things up courtesy of a blistering run and finish in behind, the 26-year-old connected with a pinpoint delivery from the right, to nod home a fine header.

And as revealed by journalist Jorge C Picon, this marked Mbappé’s first-ever headed goal for Real Madrid.
