Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé on Tuesday overtook club legend Zinedine Zidane in the club’s goalscoring ranks.

This came by way of his efforts during Los Blancos’ latest outing.

Real Madrid are of course currently locked in action on the La Liga front, having made the trip to Levante for a meeting with newly-promoted Levante.

As things stand, Xabi Alonso’s troops are well on their way to another three-point haul, leading the clash by four goals to one.

And the aforementioned Mbappé has played a leading role in as much.

After winning and converting a penalty to restore his side’s two-goal advantage during the 2nd-half, the Frenchman was back on target minutes later, on this occasion rounding Mathew Ryan before slotting into an empty net.

And as alluded to above, in the process, Mbappé continued his climb up the goalscoring charts in Spain’s capital.

As revealed by ‘StatMuse’ on ‘X’, the 26-year-old has now scored more La Liga goals for Real Madrid than both Zinedine Zidane, and Isco.
