Kylian Mbappe’s legal dispute with Paris Saint-Germain has taken a significant turn, with French justice dismissing the complaint he filed over alleged psychological harassment during the final stage of his time at the club.
According to MARCA, the investigation was closed in May after the Real Madrid forward withdrew the complaint himself.
French media have reported that authorities also found insufficient evidence to continue with proceedings.
Notably, the case comes from the turbulent final year of Mbappe’s PSG career, when his decision not to renew his contract led to a major dispute with the club.
The conflict intensified during the summer of 2023. After informing PSG that he would not extend his contract, Mbappe was removed from the first team as the club sought either a renewal or a transfer fee before his deal expired.

For what it is worth, his eventual departure for Real Madrid did not end the dispute, as PSG subsequently withheld part of Mbappe’s salary and bonuses, arguing that the payments were connected to a verbal agreement involving the player and club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi.
Mbappe rejected that position and pursued the outstanding money through legal channels.
In May 2025, Mbappe launched legal action on several fronts, including the complaint concerning his treatment during his exclusion from PSG’s first team.
That particular case has now been dismissed. The investigation continued for a period after Mbappe withdrew his complaint, but authorities ultimately concluded that there was insufficient evidence to proceed.

The withdrawal also meant the investigation no longer had the support of the complainant required to move forward.
The other major legal battle ended differently, as a Labour Court ordered PSG to pay Mbappe €61 million over the sums the club had withheld.
PSG chose not to appeal the ruling, meaning the decision became final.
With the harassment complaint now dismissed, the two major legal disputes coming from Mbappe’s final period at PSG have reached their conclusions.
