After leaving Lille at the end of his contract this summer, Jonathan Bamba has potential suitors both in Ligue 1 and abroad, according to a report from RMC Sport tonight.
Two clubs in particular have emerged as the frontrunners to sign the 27-year-old Ivory Coast international – Nice and Celta Vigo, with the Galcians said to be particularly keen on bringing in the winger.
Les Aiglons, meanwhile, have offered Bamba a three-year contract, with new manager Francesco Farioli approving of the signing – potentially their first of the transfer window.
A host of other teams have reportedly shown an interest, namely Marseille, Union Berlin, and LA Galaxy. The former French youth international, who joined Lille from Saint-Étienne back in 2018, spent five seasons in the north of France. In his first year, he scored 14 goals in all competitions, while his second saw him play a part in Les Dogues‘ league title win under Christophe Galtier.
