Despite the elimination of players like Arda Guler, Federico Valverde, Antonio Rudiger, and Denzel Dumfries, Real Madrid still have several players still competing in the World Cup 2026. These four players, along with those that were not called up for this competition, would now be enjoying their vacations ahead of the start of the preseason training.

One player who does not fall in either of these two categories is the young midfielder Thiago Pitarch, who is currently playing with the European U-19 Championship in Wales, and is shining with the Spanish team. This tournament is going to end on 11th July, and thus, he is expected to start his holidays at that date.

As far as his club side is concerned, he still has a youth team contract, and he is one of the players that Jose Mourinho would be watching closely in the upcoming preseason. He put in some impressive performances with the first team at the last stretch of the last season, and the Portuguese manager would decide whether he should remain in his team or leave on a loan to continue with his development.

In such a context, SPORT reports that several first division sides have shown an interest in the Spaniard, and one of these teams, Malaga, are already in contact with Real Madrid for his loan. The newly promoted side is looking to add more quality to their squad, while this could provide the Merengue youngster with a valuable opportunity to continue his growth in the first division.

For now, it remains to be seen whether Thiago Pitarch would leave Real Madrid on loan this summer. But if this decision is taken, he would first be given a first-team contract, before allowing him to leave to continue his development at a side that can afford him more minutes.
