Endrick’s situation at Real Madrid has not tangibly improved even after the arrival of Xabi Alonso, and the player’s frustration is now beginning to be visible. After all, he is yet to see minutes for the club despite recovering from his injury over a month ago.

Now, the player is willing to consider a move away from the club in January given his lack of minutes. He sees his future to be at the club in the long term, but wishes for regular minutes to develop and reach the level expected of him.

The player has received serious interest from interested parties but is looking to evaluate his options and choose the best path forward.

Now, as relayed by AS, Getafe are showing serious interest in signing him.

The Plan B

As relayed by the Spanish outlet, Jose Bordalas and Co. are unhappy with their situation in front of goal especially considering that they are one of the lowest scoring sides in the division. After nine match days, they have just nine goals to their name.

They are looking to make a new signing in January to fill that goalscoring void and see Real Madrid’s Gonzalo Garcia as their primary option. After all, they were interested in the player even in the summer.

But they are aware that a move for the Spaniard will not be easy, and as such, Endrick is their next best-placed option. In principle, the Brazilian will be easier to sign than Garcia who has offers from several elite clubs.

Given his lack of minutes, all signs point to a departure on loan in January, especially after the player’s clear expression of dissent at Coliseum Alfonso Perez recently.

As it stands, however, the only hurdle is the player’s long list of conditions that he expects from his potential loan destination. Endrick wishes to join a club that can compete for the domestic title and in Europe, and Getafe do not tick either of the boxes.
