La Liga have published their March 2026 salary limits following the winter window, with Barcelona the standout risers and Levante suffering the steepest cut.

According to Football Espana, Barcelona’s limit has climbed by €81.8m to €432.8m, opening a €96m gap to Atletico Madrid. Real Madrid still hold the division’s highest figure, €329m above Barcelona. Atletico are the second-biggest risers, up €10m.

Smaller uplifts were recorded by Athletic Club (€6m), Valencia (€4m), Espanyol (€500k), Osasuna (€2.75m), Alaves (€6.8m), Rayo Vallecano (€1.9m), Real Oviedo (€1.7m) and Girona (€1.5m). Alaves’ rise equates to 14%, second only to Barcelona’s 19% improvement.

Heading the other way, Levante’s limit has been cut by €17.6m, a 51% drop. Real Betis are down €3.8m, Elche €3.5m and Getafe €15.9m, the latter a 31% fall.

Across the division the combined limit has risen by €75m. Levante now have the lowest salary limit, and together with Sevilla sit some way adrift of the next lowest, Getafe. Elche are the only other club under the €40m mark.
