Wolves have been warned that clubs will be keeping tabs on Ladislav Krejci this summer despite his permanent move being confirmed.
Speaking on talkSPORT before the Czech Republic’s meeting with South Africa, former Wolves player Micky Gray highlighted the defender’s early performances and goal, suggesting Premier League teams could monitor him during these games. Commentator Ian Danter said he struggled to see Krejci remaining in the Championship, adding there may be bigger opportunities and that a World Cup would be an ideal stage.
Krejci then impressed as the Czechs were held by South Africa at the Atlanta Stadium.
He was named player of the match.
The 27-year-old joined Wolves on loan from Girona last summer, and an option to buy worth around £26m was activated despite their relegation to the Championship, making the move permanent. Reports have linked him with Leeds United and Besiktas.
