LAFC have acquired forward Armindo Sieb from German Bundesliga powerhouse Bayern Munich, the club announced Thursday.

The 23-year-old former German youth international is under contract through the 2028-29 season with an option for 2029-30.

Sieb has predominantly featured for Greuther Fürth and Mainz 05 in Germany's top divisions, tallying a combined 22g/7a in 128 appearances. He's also played once for Bayern and extensively for their reserves.

"Armindo is an exciting young player whose technical ability, pace, and attacking prowess will add another dimension to our attack," said LAFC president of soccer operations John Thorrington.

"He has already gained valuable experience at a young age in one of the world’s top footballing environments and has consistently demonstrated the qualities we value in our players. We are excited to welcome Armindo to Los Angeles and believe he will play an important role in our pursuit of championships."

Heading into the stretch run, LAFC are second in the Western Conference with 34 points. Son Heung-Min and Denis Bouanga lead their attack with a combined 14g/17a.
