The Austrian has developed into one of the German record champions‘ most consistent performers this season. Laimer has featured in almost every game in the Bundesliga, with only a yellow card suspension preventing his appearance in the 4-0 win at Heidenheim. Vincent Kompany deployed the 28-year-old flexibly on both flanks, left and right, always with the same intensity and reliability

Laimer impressed above all with his tenacity in tackles, his strong running and his tireless forward drive. His numbers prove that he also makes his mark offensively: two goals and three assists in 14 Bundesliga games underline his enormous value to Bayern’s game

In second place comes David Raum, another international player who has developed noticeably this season. The new Leipzig captain has visibly benefited from an increased sense of responsibility, acting in a more emotionally controlled and mature manner. Raum has played all of his matches across all competitions from the start on the left flank and is now also one of the set options in the DFB team under Julian Nagelsmann

Third place goes to Vladimir Coufal, an experienced new signing from TSG Hoffenheim. The 33-year-old arrived on a free transfer from West Ham United and immediately proved to be a stroke of luck. Coufal is composed, error-free and interprets his role offensively. Four assists speak for his importance in the Kraichgau side’s game

Josip Stanisic is another Bayern player in the „national class“ category. The Croatian, who missed several weeks due to an inner ligament injury, quickly played his way back into the team and was a key player in the important games, especially when Alphonso Davies was absent. Stanisic is less impressive due to his spectacular actions than his reliability, tactical discipline and defensive stability – qualities that make him particularly valuable to Kompany

The nomination of Tom Bischof is also noteworthy. The actual midfielder was often deployed as a left-back due to personnel shortages, where he interpreted his role in a modern way, regularly moving into the center in the build-up play and acting as an additional midfield outlet – a tactical element that gave Bayern’s game additional flexibility

The kicker rankings show one thing above all: Laimer is currently the benchmark on the flanks of the Bundesliga. Without world-class honors, but with clear dominance at the top – and as a symbol of the new Bayern mentality under Kompany.
