Filipe Luís says Lamine Camara is probably affected by his aborted Chelsea move, but the 22-year-old will play against PSG on Friday.

According to Get French Football News, Monaco and Chelsea had agreed a late-window deal before Monaco walked away to prioritise selling Folarin Balogun to Everton, with an outgoing needed for financial reasons. Balogun’s switch then collapsed, but only after Monaco had decided to keep Camara, who had drawn Chelsea interest for almost a fortnight.

Monaco chief executive Thiago Scuro said Camara asked him to help facilitate a move to Stamford Bridge, and that the player held talks with Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso. He added that this was only one possibility for a talent of Camara’s level and voiced confidence that better options could come soon.
