According to Get French Football News, Lamine Camara, 22, trained with AS Monaco in La Turbie on Wednesday morning, only hours after his proposed move to Chelsea collapsed.
The Senegal international had appeared set for a deadline-day switch to Stamford Bridge after a deal in principle between the clubs. Monaco then withdrew from the agreement in the hope of selling Folarin Balogun instead.
Balogun’s transfer to Everton had been revived despite the Merseyside club initially reneging following a failed medical. That move also fell through in the early hours of Wednesday.
Both players remain with Monaco for now. Camara worked with the first team. Balogun was absent, he was still in England into the early hours and had not been training with the group because of injury before the aborted Everton switch.
The transfer windows in Türkiye and Saudi Arabia remain open. There was also a boost for Monaco as Ansu Fati returned to training. The Spaniard has not featured since his move from Barcelona became permanent.
