Lamine misses training, Valencia involvement in doubt | OneFootball

Lamine Yamal was the notable absentee from Saturday morning training. He stayed in the gym, which could leave him out of the squad for the Valencia match, with Hansi Flick to name his list this afternoon.

According to AS, it remains to be seen whether Lamine can start his captaincy on the pitch on Sunday or must wait for later games.

He was chosen by team-mates as fifth captain, behind Raphinha, Pedri, Eric and Frenkie. If none of those four are on the pitch, he would wear the armband.

Hansi Flick did have Gavi and Gabriel Jesús available in the session, with the latter in line for a first call-up.

Rodri is in contention to start after featuring only as a substitute so far.
