FC Barcelona youngster Lamine Yamal broke yet another record after becoming the youngest player to score a hat-trick in La Liga this century.
At just 18 years, 7 months, and 16 days old, the Barça attacker is already setting records and has become one of the world's most exciting talents, which his hat-trick in the 4-1 win against Villarreal on Saturday underlined.
Before Yamal, another Barça youngster, Giovani Dos Santos, was the record holder when he bagged a hat-trick 19 years old.
The list also includes names like Santi Mina, Yéremy Pino, and naturally Lionel Messi, all of whom surpassed the age of 19 when they scored their respective hat-tricks.
Yamal's total for the season is now 18 goals in 34 games in all competitions. Last season, the Spanish international also scored 18 but from 55 goals so it's clear that Yamal is only getting better as he continues to develop – a scary prospect.
