The atmosphere at the Spotify Camp Nou is set to be electric. Barcelona are getting ready to host FC Copenhagen for a massive Champions League clash. Hansi Flick’s side has a mountain to climb, mostly because a brutal run of injuries has gutted the squad at the worst possible time.

With Andreas Christensen, Gavi, Pedri, and Ferran Torres all stuck in the treatment room, the manager has to lean on his bench to grab these three points. This game is about more than just chasing European glory; it’s a huge test of character for a rotated lineup facing a gritty Danish team.

Predicted Starting Lineup Of FC Barcelona Against Copenhagen:

Defence:

Joan Garcia will take his place between the posts, stepping into the spotlight for this big European night. In front of him, the backline is a combination of veteran experience and young energy. Jules Koundé will handle the right flank. He will offer a solid defensive base and jump into the attack when needed.

At the heart of the defence, Eric Garcia will pair up with Gerard Martin. Alejandro Balde will round out the defence on the left. His pace will force Copenhagen’s wingers to defend deep, effectively trapping them in their own half.

Midfield:

Losing both Pedri and Gavi until February with hamstring and meniscus issues has forced a total rethink of the midfield. Frenkie de Jong will continue to take charge as the veteran leader in the double pivot. The team rely on the Dutchman’s ball-carrying and passing to keep the engine running.

Playing next to him will be Marc Casado, who has fought his way into the lineup through sheer grit and tactical awareness. Casado needs to cover a lot of ground in this match, breaking up counterattacks and winning the ball back so De Jong can control the rhythm.

Attack

Lamine Yamal will definitely take on the role on the right wing. In the playmaker role, Fermin Lopez will fill in and continue to bank on his recent form. Fermin’s directness and eye for a goal add a vertical threat that usually catches defenders napping.

Raphinha will start on the left, bringing his usual work rate and width, while Robert Lewandowski will lead the charge up front. The Polish striker is still the main man in the absence of Torres, but he’ll need quality service to keep Barcelona’s top eight hopes alive.
