Lammers delivers two assists as Twente complete five-minute turnaround | OneFootball

FC Twente came from behind to beat Fortuna Sittard 2-1 at Fortuna Sittard Stadion, staying fifth in the Eredivisie.

In the fifth minute, Dimitris Limnios put Fortuna ahead, sliding in after Lance Duijvestijn's through ball.

After the restart, Sam Lammers took charge, releasing Daan Rots for the equaliser (55.) and then teeing up Kristian Hlynsson to steer in the winner (60.).

Lars Unnerstall kept Twente in it with smart saves from Duijvestijn early on and Paul Gladon before the interval. The goalkeeper was alert again late on to tip away Kaj Sierhuis.

Chasing the game, Fortuna sent on Sierhuis and Kristoffer Peterson among a triple change as they pushed for a leveller, but the visitors held firm.

Twente controlled 60.3% possession. Fortuna mustered 11 attempts, five on target.
