Lanús will admit away fans when they host Boca Juniors on Wednesday at the Estadio Ciudad de Lanús.
According to Sitiboca.com.ar, Boca supporters will be able to buy tickets priced at $90,000, after the club board confirmed an allocation.
Club president Nicolás Russo had hinted at opening the doors after the squad returned from Rio de Janeiro, adding that generating income would be decisive.
Visiting fans will be placed in the Solito stand, next to the club’s Polideportivo, inside the Estadio Ciudad de Lanús, Néstor Díaz Pérez. A significant security operation is expected for a high-intensity occasion.
The announcement comes as Lanús continue to celebrate the Recopa Sudamericana 2026, secured with a historic win over Flamengo at the Maracaná. The momentum has stirred hopes of challenging for the next Copa Libertadores.
The board aim to keep the title-winning squad, prioritising stronger revenues to avoid selling key players, and opening to visiting fans against Boca fits that plan. The midweek fixture promises on-pitch drama and the return of away supporters to La Fortaleza.
