Larios signs for CD Eldense after deadline day Southampton exit | OneFootball

Former Southampton defender Juan Larios has joined Spanish side CD Eldense on a deal running until June 2028 after leaving as a free agent on deadline day.

The club said in a statement that they had welcomed the 22-year-old left-back and wished him well.

Larios came through the academies at Sevilla, Barcelona and Manchester City, then moved to Southampton in August 2022 for a seven-figure fee.

Rated highly on arrival, he made his Premier League debut under Ralph Hasenhuttl and has represented Spain at youth level.

Injuries hampered his progress and he did not cement a regular first-team place, spending last season on loan at Cultural Leonesa and Real Zaragoza, where he made 30 appearances.
