Burnley came into this January transfer window in the best possible way, as they currently lead the Championship standings.
The Clarets have been very strong so far this season, and despite being on course for promotion to the Premier League, Vincent Kompany will still be looking to add to his current ranks.
The Lancashire outfit were very successful in the transfer market in the summer, and Kompany will be hoping any business his side does this month will be the same once again.
Burnley also managed to do some smart business in the summer by offloading players, and that could be an important area to focus on once again in this January transfer window.
Here at FLW, we have taken a look at all the latest transfer news regarding Burnley FC…
Amir Hadziahmetovic
Burnley have made a €4m offer to sign Konyaspor midfielder Amir Hadziahmetovic in this January transfer window.
That is according to journalist Firat Gunayer, who also states that the offer made by the Championship club is a million short of what the Turkish club is looking for, however they are much closer to agreeing a deal than Besiktas are, who are also interested in the midfielder.
Hadziahmetovic has been a constant name on the teamsheet for his current side, establishing himself as a crucial player for the Turkish side in recent seasons and recording six goals and four assists in 23 competitive appearances.
The midfielder has not only impressed in Turkey, but he also managed to make an impact in the on the international stage especially in the Conference league qualifiers earlier this term for the Bosnia and Herzegovina team.
Now it looks like Hadziahmetovic could be on his way to England, as Burnley are edging ever closer to agreeing a deal with Konyaspor.
According to a report from Relevo, Burnley and Norwich City have been credited with an interest in Marseille’s Konrad de la Fuente.
The 21-year-old is currently on loan at Greek side Olympiacos and now the Clarets are said to be looking into a possible loan for the youngster.
The same report has also stated that the performances of the 21-year-old has attracted interest from several sides around Europe. The forward has featured just three times this season for Olympiacos, with the team 3rd in the Greek Super League.

Michael Obafemi
According to a report from The Sun over the weekend, Burnley are said to be close to signing Swansea City striker Michael Obafemi.
Kompany is very keen to add a striker to his squad this month and before this report, it emerged that two bids had been made by the Clarets and they were to have been a figure of £2.5 million.
The Lancashire outfit were interested in Obafemi in the summer transfer window, but a deal failed to materialise.
This news comes at a time where the 22-year-old hasn’t been in Russell Martin’s plans for a while now with the ex-Southampton man being left out of the Swans’ matchday squads altogether.
It was also revealed by Alex Crook last week, that the Swans won’t be looking for a hefty fee like they were in the summer, with it believed to be around £12 million the asking price six months ago.
It is believed that Burnley are closing in on Obafemi and Swansea are hoping to secure £3 million for his services, with the Clarets close to that figure by offering £2.5 million. While the report from The Sun has revealed that Burnley are willing to match the striker’s wage at Swansea for when he joins the Lancashire club.
