Sheffield United turn their focus back to the Championship this weekend after clinching their place in the FA Cup fourth round with a 2-0 win over Millwall on Saturday.
The Blades are five points back from league leaders Burnley in second in the table but have opened up a nine-point gap over third-placed Blackburn Rovers.
Paul Heckingbottom would likely love to add one or two more players to his squad to boost their promotion hopes and with that in mind, here is all the latest United transfer news…
Jordan Amissah
21-year-old goalkeeper Jordan Amissah has joined League One side Burton Albion, the Blades confirmed over the weekend.
Amissah made his United debut back in August but has not featured for them since.
Reda Khadra
Reda Khadra has had his loan spell at Bramall Lane cut short and has been sent to Birmingham City for the second half of the season.
The 21-year-old’s South Yorkshire exit has looked on the cards for some time due to a lack of opportunities but the Blues have won the race for him.
Parent club Brighton confirmed today that they had recalled the German attacker, agreed a contract extension with him until 2024, and loaned then him out to Birmingham.
Seagulls technical director David Weir said: “Reda has had limited football the past few months with Sheffield United, so we hope by recalling him and loaning him to Birmingham that his minutes will go up.
“Despite the limited game time, we’ve been happy with the way Reda has developed this season and he deserves this contract extension.”

Sander Berge
Sander Berge has been linked with a move away from South Yorkshire in previous windows and came closer to leaving in the summer than many people realise, according to James Shield from the Sheffield Star.
Shield added that suggestions that the club hierarchy blocked his exit are not entirely accurate.
Club Brugge and Chelsea are both thought to have expressed an interest in the 24-year-old in the summer but he remained part of the Blades squad.
John Fleck
Rangers have been urged to move for Blades midfielder John Fleck this month in order to strengthen their options in the centre of the park.
Former Ibrox striker Kris Boyd described the 31-year-old, who is out of contract in the summer, as an obvious player for new Gers boss Mick Beale to target this month.
Heckingbottom was pressed on those links last week and told the Sheffield Star he’d not heard them but added that a lack of movement concerning new deals for players like Fleck are due to the club “not being in a position to do anything” rather than an unwillingness on the players’ behalf.
