England are looking to seal qualification for the 2026 World Cup as they travel to face Latvia tonight. Albania’s win over Serbia at the weekend means that the Three Lions will officially book their spot in next summer’s finals in Canada, Mexico and the United States with a victory in Riga this evening. Thomas Tuchel’s side head to the Daugava Stadium full of confidence after their early blitz to brush aside Wales 3-0 in Thursday’s friendly at Wembley.
That was a fourth consecutive win since the shock defeat by Senegal over the summer and England have won every game in qualifying so far without conceding a single goal, leaving them top of Group K and able to qualify with two games to spare. Harry Kane will be back from injury to captain the side, with the likes of Marcus Rashford also expected to come in as Tuchel seeks to strike the right balance in attack.
Latvia, meanwhile, sit fourth in the group with only one win to their name and were held to a 2-2 draw at home by minnows Andorra on Saturday. Follow Latvia vs England live below!
