Laughable claims from journalist on Alexander Isak

You have to laugh at this Alexander Isak nonsense.

So many people trying to get attention with their supposed ‘insider knowledge’ of what the Newcastle United star intends, wants to do.

Alexander Isak is a class act and of course any club would want to have him.

However, the fact that Newcastle United won’t be selling him and the other small fact that Alexander Isak himself doesn’t want to leave St James’ Park, doesn’t suit unscrupulous media.

Of course, it doesn’t even deter them, as they simply invent ‘insider information’ about Isak and other Newcastle stars, as well as those at every other club.

I am always astonished at how many people now want to believe that a ‘transfer specialist journalist’ like Fabrizio Romano, somehow has intimate knowledge of what is happening inside every club, inside every player’s head.

It is beyond belief and a very sad indictment on where we are these days with the media.

Not helped of course by so many desperate journalists and other media, who are happy to put up an entire article that is only based on a Fabrizio Romano (or another ‘Transfer specialist journalist’) tweet, claiming he somehow has exclusive intimate knowledge, whether it is Burnley or Barcelona, PSG or QPR, Inter Milan or Outer Mongolia.

Which brings me to Gianluca Di Marzio, a countryman of Romano’s and yet another ‘renowned transfer specialist  journalist’ claiming to have intimate knowledge of what is happening everywhere.

Gianluca Di Marzio talking to Ace Odds about Alexander Isak:

“I think Liverpool want Alexander Isak and Victor Osimhen too.

“For Isak it depends on Newcastle, because the player talked to the coach and the club at the end of the season because he would like to leave but Newcastle are not open to that, at the moment.”

“So it depends on Newcastle and Isak’s discussion, if the club will be open to having him on the market.

“Newcastle is a tough club and they want to keep their best players for next season, including Sandro Tonali.”

“Alexander Isak would like to look at other options because at the end of this season, he had the promise from the club and the coach but Newcastle haven’t acted seriously on that yet.”

Does anybody honestly believe any of this?

That Alexander Isak is lying when he says in every interview that he is happy at Newcastle United, looking forward to next season, even modelling the 2025/26 kit.

That in reality, instead these secret conversations happened where Alexander Isak supposedly told Eddie Howe and Newcastle United that he is desperate to leave and he got a ‘promise’ from them (Eddie Howe and the club). With this ‘Renowned transfer specialist journalist’ somehow having exclusive intimate knowledge of these (alleged!) meetings and conversations.

I believe more in the talents of Clinton Baptiste than I do these ‘Renowned transfer specialist journalists’ and their never ending ‘insider’ knowledge.
