Miguel Layún reunited with former Porto team-mates José Sá, Diogo Dalot and Rúben Neves at a hotel during Portugal’s visit to Mexico.

The 37-year-old said in a social media post that football has given him a lot, but friendships endure for life. He added he could not be so close without stopping to see them, and said that is what he misses most about that world.

Layún left with two match shirts.

He played for Porto from 2015 to 2018, a spell in which he crossed paths with all three.

Sérgio Oliveira also reacted in the comments, posting a blue heart emoji.
