Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Lazio are close to signing Real Madrid teenager Bruno Galassi, a 19-year-old midfielder.

The Biancocelesti have imposed a net-zero transfer window after failing to drop below the 70% cost-per-revenue threshold, so sales are expected. The plan is to replace departures with cost-efficient youngsters, mirroring January’s approach.

Mario Gila, another Real Madrid academy product, could be on his way to Napoli as Lazio reshape the squad.

Galassi was born and raised in Spain and has Argentine heritage. He came through Rayo Vallecano’s academy, moved to Getafe in summer 2021, then joined Real Madrid two years later. He has featured for their U17, U18 and third teams.

His contract runs until June 2028.

Lazio have also been linked with other prospects, notably Bayern Munich’s Jonthan Asp Jensen, a 20-year-old Dane who primarily operates as an attacking midfielder.
