Lazio complete signing of Real Madrid youngster Bruno Galassi

Lazio have completed the signing of youngster Bruno Galassi from Real Madrid, with the 19-year-old already training under Gennaro Gattuso in pre-season.

The club said in a statement that the deal is permanent.

The long-trailed move comes on a free, with Madrid to receive 50% of any future resale, mirroring the Mario Gila arrangement.

Galassi is Spanish with Argentine roots. He came through Rayo Vallecano, joined Getafe in 2021, then moved to Real Madrid in 2023, representing the U17s, U18s and the third team.

A central midfielder who has also filled in at centre-back, he is likely to spend this season with Lazio’s Primavera. A strong summer could yet bring minutes with the seniors if he convinces Gattuso and his staff.
