According to La Lazio Siamo Noi, Lazio ‘have offered’ €15m to Sassuolo for striker Andrea Pinamonti. The clubs have opened dialogue with sporting director Francesco Palmieri, the report said, though the formula was not disclosed.

Gennaro Gattuso has long targeted a new centre-forward this summer, despite promising pre-season signs from Petar Ratkov. The club have monitored several options, including AC Milan’s Santiago Gimenez.

While the Mexican is seen as Gattuso’s dream addition, pulling off that deal remains difficult, so alternative tracks are being pursued.

The report also notes Hull City recently had a €10m offer for Pinamonti rejected. Both clubs were linked with Carlos Espi, who joined Real Madrid, and are reportedly eyeing Benfica’s Franjo Ivanovic.

An Inter youth product, Pinamonti had loans at Frosinone, Genoa and Empoli before joining Sassuolo in 2022. Following the Neroverdi’s 2024 relegation, he spent the next campaign on loan at Genoa, then returned after their top-flight comeback a year later.

The 27-year-old has scored 26 times in 109 appearances for Sassuolo. His contract runs to June 2027, which could prompt the club to cash in this summer.
