The chaos around Italy’s coaching search, with Andrea Pirlo ruling himself out, has not halted Serie A transfer activity.

Roma are close to signing Santiago Castro from Bologna for €35m plus add-ons and a 10% sell-on clause. Sky Sport Italia says he will undergo medical tests tomorrow, with Artem Dovbyk joining Bologna on a one-season loan.
