Serie A side Lazio have made contact with Miroslav Klose in an attempt to make him their new manager next season.
Maurizio Sarri was sacked by Lazio earlier in the season and Igor Tudor has done well since joining. But there has been talk of a distance between Lazio and Tudor, especially after the move for Daichi Kamada fell through. He is considering leaving the club right now.
La Lazio Siamo Noi now report that there is a definite break-up between Lazio and Tudor and it is impossible for the relationship to continue and parties could discuss how an exit could take place.
In the meantime, club CEO Claudio Lotito is looking at younger profiles and has made contact for former Lazio striker Klose. Lotito is currently looking to make sure that the players have a good relationship with the manager and having a young manager can help in that regard.
Klose was liked by Lazio after Sarri’s sacking but the move never went through. If the German does join, former club midfielder Marco Parolo could become a part of the staff.
