Lazio are now edging close to sealing a double move with Juventus for Luca Pellegrini and Nicolo Rovella.
Gianluca di Marzio has reported that after an initial breakdown in talks, both Lazio and the Bianconeri have reached an agreement for the two players. The agreement between the clubs now exists, with the agreement with the two players now being defined.
The total cost of the moves will be €21 million. Pellegrini will join Lazio on an initial two-year long loan deal, with the Roman club having the obligation to buy him permanently. The sales will allow Juventus to sign a new midfielder and two options are Arsenal’s Thomas Partey and Fiorentina’s Sofyan Amrabat. While the Moroccan is liked by Juve, no contact has been made between La Viola and the Bianconeri yet.
Pellegrini had spent the second half of last season on loan at Eintracht Frankfurt before he joined Lazio on a loan deal from Juve. Rovella had spent last season on loan at Monza, where he had impressed.
