Calcio e Finanza reports that Lazio ended 2025/26 with a €10 million net loss, an improvement on the €17.2 million deficit a year earlier.
The campaign featured a transfer ban, underwhelming results and a public row between the president and former head coach Maurizio Sarri. Supporters staged major protests against Claudio Lotito’s administration, and the club did not play in Europe.
Revenues rose to approximately €173.7 million from €157.2 million. Broadcasting fell to €88.5 million from €94.5 million and matchday income to €18.1 million from €22.9 million. These drops were offset by €39.3 million in capital gains from the sales of Matteo Guendouzi, Taty Castellanos and Loum Tchaouna, while commercial income eased to €19.8 million from €20.9 million.
Costs increased to €187.4 million from €174.3 million, largely driven by higher personnel expenses to €104.6 million from €98.2 million. Depreciation, provisions and write-downs also rose to €46.3 million from €38.7 million.
The operating loss was €13.6 million, reduced to the reported net figure after deferred or prepaid taxes. Shareholders’ equity swung from -€16.8 million to €113.6 million, mainly due to a revaluation of the renovated Formello training facilities. Net financial debt climbed to €126.4 million from €66.3 million, reflecting greater use of self-liquidating credit facilities.
