Lazio sell Gabriele Artistico to Padova with buy-back clause | OneFootball

Lazio have sold Gabriele Artistico to Padova on a permanent deal, with a buy-back clause, the club said in a statement.

He never made a competitive appearance for Lazio after arriving on a free in summer 2024. The Parma academy product played once for their first team and previously spent time with Francavilla.

The striker was loaned to Juve Stabia and Cosenza in 2024/25, scoring seven goals across the season. He hit a career-best 14 for Spezia last term.

Returning to Formello this summer, he scored in pre-season friendlies before an injury halted his progress. In recent days it emerged he was not in Gennaro Gattuso's plans.

Padova moved to strike a deal with Lazio and the player, completing the move ahead of the new Serie B campaign. No financial details were disclosed in the announcement.
