Nottingham Forest have enquired about Lazio midfielder Fisayo Dele-Bashiru and the Serie A club have set an asking price of €15 million, according to La Lazio Siamo Noi. The Premier League side are said to be pondering an offer while the Nigerian is on international duty.

The 24-year-old joined the Biancocelesti in summer 2024 after an impressive season in Türkiye with Hatayspor. His first campaign in Italy was largely a learning phase and he did not secure a regular starting spot.

Last summer, a transfer ban led Maurizio Sarri to lean on existing options, which handed Dele-Bashiru minutes alongside Matteo Guendouzi and Nicolo Rovella early in the season. He then suffered an injury against Roma in September, sidelining him for several months.

He made a brief return to the squad last month before departing for the Africa Cup of Nations in mid-December. Lazio have since added box-to-box midfielder Kenneth Taylor, and Alex Toth could follow, which may further limit his role even with Guendouzi gone.

The report adds that Dele-Bashiru is not considered unsellable. With Financial Fair Play restrictions in play, Forest would likely seek an initial loan with an option to buy at season’s end, though it is unclear whether Lazio would accept as they would prefer an immediate sale.
