Lazio ‘to consider’ move for Brozovic after Al-Nassr contract expiry | OneFootball

Lazio are exploring a deal to bring Croatian midfielder Marcelo Brozović back to Serie A after his Al-Nassr contract expired.

According to Calciomercato.it, he is open to a return to Italian football. The report adds that head coach Gennaro Gattuso has requested a midfielder with Brozović’s qualities, prompting the club to consider a move.

Brozović spent eight years at Inter from 2015 to 2023, making over 300 appearances for the Nerazzurri.

After a slow start to the window, Lazio accelerated late, completing moves for Albert Guðmundsson, Andrea Pinamonti and Josip Šutalo.

They are also expected to finalise the arrival of Portuguese defender Diogo Leite on a free transfer to replace Alessio Romagnoli, who departed for Al-Sadd.
