Lazio ‘to sell’ Gabriele Artistico to Padova for €3.5m | OneFootball

Lazio are set to sell striker Gabriele Artistico to Padova, with a permanent switch to Serie B expected.

Sky Sport Italia reports that an agreement has been reached for a €3.5 million move for the 24-year-old.

A Parma academy graduate, Artistico joined Lazio on a free in summer 2024 but never made a competitive appearance. He spent 2024/25 on loan at Juve Stabia then Cosenza. Last season he scored 14 goals in 33 outings for Spezia.

He returned to Formello this summer and impressed early in friendlies, then missed recent weeks through injury. Gennaro Gattuso did not view him as part of his plans, so an exit had long been likely.

Artistico might not be the only forward to depart. Petar Ratkov could also move on, with Gattuso maintaining the Serbian does not fit his system. Boulaye Dia has drawn interest from Stade Rennais, although a transfer is considered unlikely for now.

Lazio are also finalising a deal for Sassuolo striker Andrea Pinamonti, who is due in Rome on Wednesday evening. Recent reports have linked the club with RB Leipzig forward Conrad Harder.
