According to L'Équipe, Le Havre lost 2-0 at Brest, their third straight defeat, and remain 14th. They are seven points above Auxerre in the play-off spot.

Over the past two weeks they delivered a 0-2 at Nantes and a more solid 0-1 against Paris-SG, before this latest reverse. The return was the same each time, zero points.

In Brest they had close to 60% possession, won more duels and led shots 14 to 11, yet failed to hit the target. The hosts converted their two chances.

Didier Digard said the match unfolded as expected and felt frustrating. He highlighted two awful concessions, both from balls in behind that were poorly defended.

Away problems persist, with five goals in 12 trips and just one across the last seven, plus a record of one win and three draws. He argued the remedy is to keep trying and believing, not drop their heads.

Timothée Pembélé was omitted after saying before the game that none of the teams behind seemed dangerous. Digard accepted responsibility, called it clumsy rather than heartfelt, and said they must fight to the end. He added the player erred, paid, and they move on.

Gautier Lloris left with a hamstring issue on 64 minutes and could be out for several weeks. His manager suggested end-of-contract pressure may weigh on him, praised his usual standards despite recent fatigue, and underlined his importance. Lyon visit the Stade Océane next Sunday, where Le Havre tend to look stronger.
