According to L'Équipe, newly promoted Le Mans are again tracking Marsoni Sambu, and Dender would be prepared to consider a sale if a satisfactory offer arrives.
The Belgian-Angolan, 30, is a right-sided wing-back with over 100 appearances in the Jupiler Pro League. He previously played for SO Cholet in 2020-2021 and could return to France next season.
Le Mans pursued him last summer, but he ultimately joined Dender after a financial disagreement with RWDM Brussels, then owned by John Textor. In the meantime Dender had been relegated to the second tier.
Sambu remains under contract at Dender until 2027.
He is also being courted by a Greek club that is said to have already tabled a financial proposal, though at this stage he would prefer a return to France.
