Le Paris FC are preparing for the possibility that head coach Antoine Kombouaré departs, having recently met Walid Regragui and Liam Rosenior. According to L'Équipe, the discussions form part of early contingency planning.

Regragui left the Morocco job after the Africa Cup of Nations, which was awarded off the pitch against Senegal. The 50-year-old has not managed at this level, yet his profile appeals and he is attracted to the Paris project.

Rosenior, 41, comes off a disappointing spell at Chelsea, whom he joined in January after leaving Strasbourg mid-season.

Paris FC had already sounded out Bruno Genesio a few weeks ago in case the Kombouaré era ends sooner than expected.

A decision on whether Kombouaré continues is anticipated in the coming days.
