According to Daily Echo, Saints legend Matt Le Tissier hopes Sunday’s south coast derby with Portsmouth is less of a let-down than last season’s goalless draw at St Mary’s.
He wants the occasion to offer more this time, while stopping short of any forecast.

The emphasis from Le Tissier is on entertainment and improvement, not certainty.
With the derby approaching on Sunday, he frames it as a hope rather than a guarantee.
The message is clear, the rivalry delivering more than that stalemate would be welcome.
