Leeds United have reached a verbal agreement with Brighton to sell centre-back Pascal Struijk this summer, while a deal for free agent Harry Wilson remains on course.
According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, the fee is undisclosed but understood to be around £20m. Struijk, 26, is out of contract next year and has made 196 appearances since arriving from Ajax in January 2018, initially with the under-21s.
It is believed Leeds offered fresh terms, however the defender wanted a new challenge and risked leaving on a free next summer.
Brighton sold centre-back Jan Paul Van Hecke to Tottenham earlier this month for £52m, and Adam Webster is also departing as his contract expires. The Seagulls, who signed Georginio Rutter from Leeds in August 2024, will play in the Europa Conference League after finishing eighth.
Leeds, preparing for their second season back in the Premier League, agreed last week to sign Wilson once his Fulham contract expired. He still needs to complete his medical and paperwork before sealing the move to Elland Road.
United are also pursuing Germany international Julian Brandt, a free agent this summer as his Borussia Dortmund deal expires, and remain in negotiations for Southampton midfielder Shea Charles.
