Leeds United are monitoring Barcelona winger Roony Bardghji as a crowded forward line creates an opening Daniel Farke’s side could exploit.
TeamTalk reports that Leeds are among the clubs interested and that Barcelona are willing to let him leave, with Aston Villa, Sunderland, Brighton, Brentford and Everton also watching.
Barcelona still rate Bardghji, yet competition has intensified. Anthony Gordon has arrived and Raphinha remains first choice, while further attacking business is being explored. Julian Alvarez could also join and Marcus Rashford could sign permanently, leaving younger players exposed.
Bardghji has struggled for minutes. He made 28 appearances in 2025-26 for a total of 784 minutes, and in La Liga he featured 21 times but managed only seven starts.
Leeds’ wide options are uncertain. Largie Ramazani spent last season on loan at Valencia, Jack Harrison’s long-term future is unresolved and Willy Gnonto is attracting serious interest. If Gnonto departs, Dan James and Noah Okafor could become the only established choices out wide.
A loan is understood to suit all parties. Bardghji prefers a temporary move as he still sees his future at Barcelona, the club would retain control, he would gain regular football and Leeds would add quality without paying. Competition is strong, but Leeds can offer a clear path to Premier League minutes for the Sweden international.
